The Name

PLUVIO — Latin for pluvia, rain — soft, falling, inevitable. Named by a pluviophile, for women who don't run from the rain, they dress for it — no need to abandon aesthetics to stay dry. Petrichor — from the Greek petra (stone) and ichor (the fluid in the veins of the gods) — is the smell of rain on dry earth. That smell is what this jacket is for.

The Fabric

Pluvio is a C0 DWR softshell — fully waterproof with no forever chemicals (PFAS-free). The DWR finish causes water to bead and roll off the surface without fluorinated chemicals. Spandex provides flex needed for city movement. Lightweight enough to pack. Structured enough to look considered.
